4 Pre-Release/Promo albums now available at http://cdbaby.com/cd/embersofeuphoria
These are limited pressings that we are selling to the world right now so move
it or lose it!
2 songs are now available for download in the multimedia section! "Burden of Demise"
and "Dark Parade" are 2 of the 7 songs that has been mixed and mastered by Juan Urteaga
and will be on our debut album. If you've heared the demos that were posted here
previously, you'll notice a huge sonic difference with these.
The album will be available through CD Baby and Shaxul Records sometime between mid
February and mid March. We'll keep you posted here so check back sooooooooon!
It has been a while since we've updated this site but here's what's going on with EOE
these days.
We are set to go to Trident Studios in late December and have Juan Urteaga do the final
mixdown of out debut album! He knows the sound we want to achieve and we're excited
to be working with him and to finally have the finished product done! We hope to have
samples of a few songs up next month.
Juan has worked with numerous labels including Century Media, Roadrunner, and Metal
Blade, and has produced and/or mixed many bands including Exodus, Skin Lab, and Sadus.
Check back later for the status of the album.
The album is no where near completion! This is due partly to bad weather and partly
to some changes within the band. Here's what's gone on...
After the drum tracks were laid down at the end of February, Mr. Blood Eagle went
into the operating room for his second (and hopefully last) shoulder surgery
(as a result of a serious cycling accident last year). Shortly after this, severe
wind storms brought down a live power cable on J. Ramada's car, frying it to a crisp.
Fortunately, he was in the studio at the time, dialing knobs and adjusting guitar tones.
Yet, the loss of his primary vehicle was a set back none the less. When it appeared
that we finally had the opportunity to make some headway on the recording, random power
outages and then show/practice schedules disrupted the process yet again.
Lastly, towards the end of last month, the decision was reached among the band members
to continue as a four piece without singer/front man Brenden Raye. While this most
certainly does suck, all parties agree that it's the best course of action to follow.
The current members of the band Markk, Jared, Jesse and B.E. all wish Brenden the best
in any projects he is involved in and we're all very grateful for the tireless energy he
gave to the band on stage and in the studio. Thanks Brenden!
Also thanks to all of you voted for us on the Bone! We're very grateful! We didn't win,
but it's the thought that counts. We didn't even know we were in the competition until
just days before it ended, so we feel we made a good showing of it. Thanks for your
interest in our work and look to see us live in the Bay Area again soon...
Embers of Euphoria are now in the studio recording what will be a full length album.
All the songs on the demo plus songs heretofore unreleased and some new material
will appear on it. The record will also serve as a document of the band's current
lineup. On the demo you hear Brenden on lead vocals, Jesse on all strings and
backing vox with the Blood Eagle on drums. The new album will highlight what
guitarist Mark and bassist Jared have brought to the table over the last year of
rehearsal and gigging. It's also noteworthy that the new album is being recorded onto
two inch tape at the professional recording studio that has doubled up as the EoE
practice space for the last six months. This new foray into the world of analog
recording will undoubtedly capture the sound and feel of the band far better than
current demo (available here) which was recorded digitally at various times and
practice spaces. The album (as yet untitled) will be released on Difonic Records
this spring.
Our local rock station, 107.7 The Bone, has just added EOE's "The Dark Parade"
to their Local Licks webpage. Check it out and give it a good rating if you
have a chance.

amazing based on the sketches already seen. You can see his work at

7/24/05 SHOW @ STUDIOZ HAS BEEN CANCELED-
We just got word that StudioZ has canceled all Rampage Radio
shows scheduled to take place at this venue and of course, starting with
our show scheduled to happen this Sunday. So much for all the time and
money spent on promoting for this show. For those of you planning to
make it to this show- we apologise and hope you get this message before
you get to the venue as 2 days is NOT enough notice for everyone to get
the message. See you all next month.
The Demos for The Dark Parade, Eternal Confinement, and Isle of the Dead
are now available for download in the multimedia section of the site.
The debut album will hopefully be completed before the year is over.
The next show EOE is playing will be 7/24/05 so check out the show
section for further info.
EOE has been confirmed to play with Heathen at The PoundSF on
8/20/05!!! Other bands scheduled to play are Kaos, Saros, Passive
Aggressive, and Jungle Rooster.
We just played our first show at the Pound and it ROCKED!!! We had a
great turnout and it seemed that everybody really enjoyed our set. We
played our 5 original songs and decided to reform as Brewtallica for
the encore as this was our redemption show that never happened late
last year. Brenden and Mark stepped off the stage and Stone stepped
up and we finished with 2 Metallica songs, Hit the Lights and Master
of Puppets. Thanks to those who came out to support our show. See
you all at the next show.
Demo has been recorded and will be available this summer. Our debut
performance will be taking place at The PoundSF on 4/23/05.
